The rainbow experiment

One day, while going down the escalator, I came across an installation and took it’s picture because it made me happy. It felt pretty cool walking under it.

Suddenly, I thought of something I wanted to try: A simple activity that would take not more than a minute.

I converted the photo to black and white and sent it to a few friends. I asked them to use any basic photo tool they have and colour the installation the way they’d imagine it to be.

Following pictures are created by my friends from the black and white picture I shared.

I loved the responses and the effort they took to edit and colour the picture I sent.

Ending this with one of my favourite songs:

Someday I’ll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops that’s where
You’ll find me,
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you dream of
Once in a lullaby,
Oh, somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dream that you dare to
Why, oh why can’t I?
